nice looking machine. The only thing I dont like is the welded front casters. I have broken a front caster on a Scag. It was easy to change but that machine would require some major work to replace it.

I'd sure like to know what you were doing that broke the front caster arm ?? It seems to me that for that to happen, you would have had to be doing something quite out of the ordinary !!

Off the topic of the Dually, but BQ came through again with outstanding customer service! I had lost the handle/knob attachment for my mulching plate mounting. Tommy knows exactly what I mean, I didn't even have to pull the manual out for the part number.
Then I mention how the handle extention for the "thumb reverse control" had broken. No questions asked, it's in the box with the new mulch plate knob and on it's way here.

That sounds like BOP !!
I will agree. Every time that I have dealt with them, their customer service has been exceptional.

Unlike other brands, our caster arms are "keyed into" the tunnel of the deck (with tabs and slots) in two axis (verticle and horizontal) and then robotically welded into position. Instead of relatively small tubing, our arms are fabricated from 10 ga steel and are 2-1/2" thick by 3" wide and then reinforced from the underside. We also support the caster arms with compression struts which run back to the beefy, mounting area of the deck. In the history of the company, we've never failed the caster arms. They're pretty tough! The caster forks are also mounted on ball bearings (instead of bushings) which makes for easy turning and a long, maintenance-free life.

I'd love to know how you could break one on the Dually...
I don't think you should worry about that.

Things like this make me think i am going to buy a quick for my next gate mower. I think they are a great product, and the introduction of the dually makes them the perfect gate mower in my opinion.

You probably mean the 32" Dually ... the 32" single hydro drive is good, but the 32" Dually is alot Better !! Now I know why the name of the company is Better.

what sets this walkbehind apart from getting another?
The reason I ask is Im looking into getting a walkbehind or stander in the 36" maybe a 44" size. So I am obviously looking for the best.

Even though Better Outdoor Products sells direct from factory (no dealers network) they have arguably the best customer service in the industry.
Every one at BOP will bend backward to help you, their customer.
Their mowers are very well made and the quality of cut is incredible.
They are some of the very best mowers you can find today.

Compare mower weight's & tire size to better understand what you'll have when it's time to mow when conditions are wet/soggy. BOP's mowers are ALL short & compact, so they're very maneuverable. The cut is superb...and THAT'S what you leave behind when you drive away!
Don't forget to add your weight......to a Stander's weight.
