hi all
A while back i had a few questions for advise to get for my first truck. Wheather it was 4.8 5.3 6.0 blah blah blah. But any how a question came up that a buddy of mine had mentioned about a 2500 series truck with a 5.3 liter engine in it so I asked you guys and no one knew. So i guess what I am trying to say is I answer that question that they do make a 2500 series truck with the 5.3 and thought that you all might want to see it for yourselves.

Aint that the truth..

The GVWR on that truck is only 7200#...

an HD2500 is @ 9200#

x2 and that thing looks like its rusting away not to mention all the dents. Buy something newer like an 05+

Yeah GM was making some weird stuff. They had those 3/4 tons rated like a half ton. Then they had the 1500hd with 8 lug wheels.

Yeah I know its not a pretty truck but i thought that i would post that they do make a 2500 series truck with the 5.3. last time when i mentioned about this no one knew for sure.

Yeh but its not really a 2500 its really more like a heavy half ton... like the old days.

yeah i know what your saying but at the same time you get a heavy duty half ton with the fuel efficiant 5.3 instead of the 6.0
