Are there any problems with using your last name in the business name?

I would like to start my own company and had some questions on business names. I will need to register the company name and get some insurance but wanted to use my last name in the business name i.e. "Lastname Landscaping". I am just hoping that will work out fine and if anyone knew of any problems with that?

Most of the companies around me use either their first name or their last name for their business name.

I use my last....you need to check with secretary of state to see if you came register that name

So long as your last name is not Hitler, Manson, or Hussein, I think you'll be fine.
