I chose to setup an LLC for '08. According to my CPA and what Ive read, it will save me some $$$ on self-employment tax.

I'm an S corp. My accountant told me it would be my best option...I don't really remember why, but it has been working out well for me.

Sole prop because it is easy to get started and only costs $14 to file a DBA. Further down the road, I'll probably become an LLC or S corp for liability protection and taxes. Being a solo operation, though, I'll stay a sole proprietor for a while.

We are working as sole prop. right now, it works well with our taxes. My wife and I both work full time jobs and even though the business does not help with our taxes that we pay from that. With our expenses starting out we will probably not pay extra taxes on the business for a while. At least so far we haven't borrowed money for our equipment. Hope to keep it that way.
