I am fabbing an OCDC for my Ferris and have a couple of Questions. Dixie guys, are they still making them with holes? What is the purpose of the holes? How big are the holes and spacing between? I figure I can cut holes in it when its done, if needed. Thanks.

for what its worth, a few other members have made their own ocdcs, and they didnt have holes cut in them.

Operator Controlled Discharge Chute

Closes off the discharge to mulch or keep from throwing clippings into areas you don't want them.

I made one for my Turf Tiger. Saw no need for the holes.
