I enjoy shopping Alamia.....whether I buy something or not. Recently, I printed a page from Alamia and took it to a dealer. It helped me get a better price.

Are there other sites that give prices on commercial equipment?

It seems that every site I find doesn't list prices or doesn't seem to want to business on the net. Personally, I like to do all my "researching" on-line.

...Don't you enjoy surfing just to get ideas? I agree-I will not buy anything BIG on line, but I do all my thinking and planning at night...wandering thru the net.
Just tonight, I decided that I may want to purchase a large walkbehind, so I decided to see about how the biggest WB's compare price wise. Other than Alamia, where can I see prices..tonight?

www.turfhq.com

Try there

Also I recall there were some others that have been posted, but I can't think of them right now.

Impulse gotcha ya huh?

One thing though, you should not consider the price, whne looking at the mower.

Quality, performance, and power demands a matching price.

there is lawn and garden warehouse. their site is lgwhse.com. They sell exmark and toro and a few others. Their exmark page has just been updated but the toro page is from like 1999.

Thanks for the props Chuck. Actually though I am only managing the website for a distributor here in Denver. Meaning is I will be glad to help any of you but you will not be buying from me or Arboristsite.com, but direct from the distributor. This is why you will see excellent prices on parts and equipment. As Chuck says it lacks bells and whistles, but I feel that the amount of selection is more important right now. If you don't see something you are in need of I set up a forum for you to use to post what you are looking for. I can sell equipment etc on a commision basis but you might as well buy from OPECenter.

BTW-I was kinda unaware of this opening. I just checked the checkout area and there seems to be a problem. You can email orders to support@opecenter.com . Pierre is in Denmark for 2 weeks and hope I can have somebody fix the problem by then. I went back again and it didn't have the problem too. So if you get an error let me know please at support@arboristsite.com .

I've bought some things at alamia.com But I generally make my big purchases at my local dealer who handles most of my mainentance and such. they treat me like royalty and are always giving me freebees like blade sharpening or free work gloves or deep discounts on equipment rentals, whenever I have a problem with one of my machines they take me in right away and get it fixed on the spot so I can go back out, I don't even own a trailer but whenever I need one they let me borrow one at no cost. So Yes you might save a few dollars on line, but what about the service..... that is what is important to me.
