I was at Walmart getting some garden tools and I noticed they had snapper trimmers. One was labled brush cutter ($135) the other weed trimmer ($99). The look identical. Same cc's/size/color/head. Could the brush cutter have different gearing than a trimmer?

Brush Cutter usually have blades instead of line.

Thats what I thaught but this one came with line. It look identical to the trimmer. Maybe Walmart made a mistake in pricing or something. I just found it odd for the BC model to be more $ and look the same as the trimmer.

The reason the brush cutter cost more is because it has a clutch. The grass trimmer doesn't. The way to tell is to litely pull the handle, and if the head spins, no clutch. So I guess the clutch is why the brush cutter is 30 dollars more
