Bareroot

Planning on buying a fair amount of bareroot trees this year to pot up. Looking at everything from fruit trees to shade to japanese maples. Anyone have experience doing this in the past. Were success rates high? Is there any pointers that you picked up?

looking to do the same, any help out there??? what type of potting mix should be used.. watering schedule fert ect??

Here we use straight double ground pine bark. Fertilize with osmocote 8 mo release. I've had pretty good success. All Jap maples did great. I have some cleveland pears and some roses stuck in dormacy.
