Just wondering how many of you use a slogan and if any customers have noticed or remembered you by the slogan?

don't personally use a slogan.. but know a lot of guys who use them. Just do yourself a favor and don't use "dirtbag" slogans like:

"we trim a mean bush"

"landscapers plant it deeper"

slogans like that.. some guys think the're "cool". Personally, if i am a client and i see that written on a guys truck... I don't even talk to them.. Its just too unprofessional if you ask me.

Trash Hauling "Satisfaction guaranteed or double your trash back"

That is one that I have seen and like it!
I think it is good to have a slogan underneath your name/logo painted on the side of your truck.

In lieu of a slogan, I have a cartoon character mascot on the trucks, I've gotten a number of calls that say they've seen the trucks.

I've been toying around with using a slogan, but I think I've heard it before and didn't want to steal it from anyone. Let me know if you've heard it and where it might have come from.

'Craig Turf Management Inc. Working with Mother Nature, Not against her.'

Thanks, Bill Craig!

many years ago while drinking a wee bit much with a buddy.....and thinking of running a tv commercial (yes, that was a dream for some reason).............picture 2 bums mowing a lawn, or more like screwing it up big time, scalping, mowing crooked, etc.......sign on truck reads "half ass lawn care".......after they are done......customer scratches his head and says, "NOW THATS HALF ASS!!!!!".....it goes on showing a real crew with something to the effect of hiring professionals......

I know, it was one of those things that sounded better after a few beers......the sad part is we joke about it to this day

I don't think I'll ever use a slogan, but if would I think I would use "Quality Service from the Ground Up"

Not related to lawncare but my friend opened a small fried chicken restraunt and he had a local commercial where he said "if the colonel made chicken like us he would have been a general." I though that was pretty witty.

My wife and I have one. Seems as though 2 lawn care companys have cropped in my neighborhood, one is 4 houses down one street and the other is 2 houses up the other street. our motto is OFTEN IMMITATED NEVER DUPLICATED the original GREENS KEEPER LAWN SERVICE. Fun to watch keeps us guessing what to get into next.
