Does anyone have any suggestions(or better, a sample of an ad that you've used) for doorhangers and postcards to promote organic lawncare? I'd like any ideas for hardscape/ landscaping postcards, etc. also. Thanks everyone.

WOW, 10,000 quarter page post cards for under 2cents each! That would be one of the best $200 a guy could spend.

A closer look shows the price break to be at 5000 units. Still a bargain, but maybe 5000 per order is a good call?

You can also check out Vista Print online...they offer a ton of free products (full color postcards are 100 free most times). I started with their biz cards, and added postcards, brochures & magnetic car signs too. You just pay for shipping (not too much), and you get email offers all the time for more free offers. I pretty much just keep ordering the free products on a regular basis, and end up (over time) having a ton of ad product. Just a thought!

you do know that there are 75 guys at kinkos saying "i want it like this with my name here"

Yeah, good work, Barefoot. Anyone else got ideas?

Not likely, Tree. There are plenty of templates and such available for free, and if someone has the knowledge to successfully do OG methods, they're probably not your typical cutthroat type. I'm just looking for some inspiration (new to direct mailing). Any other ideas?

Love my chain pulled by tree.

Green I think you will find the templates available "unfulfilled" to say the least. My first 4x6 postcard - I used "said" templates. Nice pic of grass cut on on side and long grass the other - printed contact information - in block style - sort of looked like a Microsoft publisher deal - granted better than 95% of my competition. But then this past year I got a graphic design guy (a real one) who was referred to me and bid his yard. One thing lead to another and we barter. - no freebies but a mutual respect for each others talents - hence his!
