Not worth the five, if I remember eBay prices.

It's worth what he can get for it. Not my cup of tea but if it is in good condition 500 is a fair price. I believe they run 1400 new. Why are you giving up on it?

Sure get what you can, but I figure Rotar could use the three hundred bucks. I don't think I paid as much as one-fifty for mine.

Is the remote part of your required tools to have for the job? Does your company not use any remotes??????

I think I would talk to your boss and tell him your willing to buy a remote your self and see if he will give you a bonus or raise for it. He should realize the benefit to himself of you having one. Plus you will have to pay to maintain it.

trilawn-if i have an operable remote I can run my own truck...Usually we do 2 man crews on turn ons...1 clock and 1 field...Me having a remote would make me more likely to get more hours....I'm looking to shoot 60-70 hrs/weekly this spring..Them letting us work all that overtime is a raise in itself..

Isn't that like the side kick unit you guys all told me you had range problems with?

Eddie, watch e-bay a little closer. Going to be a LOT of stuff up for sale as downsizing becomes the norm in our new economy.

Yup; we bailed on a site that had the RB + Side Kick combo; took us forever to service and winterize.

I think Rainbird's version might have only run 24 zones.

i'll buy it... in like a month!

my remote is broken... after my boss flipping on me for seeing the damage of the case i was too afraid to tell him that the remote is not working. so i might as well buy one.

will it work on the nelson EZ PRO JR. controller?

No, only high-quality stuff like Orbit and Watermiser.

I think Rainbird's version might have only run 24 zones.

Correct. I have one - the "Remote Bird". And it is junk, very short range, line-of-sight only.

will it work on the nelson EZ PRO JR. controller?

It will work on any timer as long as a 37 pin d hub pigtail has been installed properly. The Commander at least has an independent MV on/off. Far better than the Sidekick. Still has that friggin delay though. Cost more new than the RM as well.

While its surely not a RM, which you know I love, I wouldnt go as far to say its a piece of junk. Ive used one a few times, they arent that bad..
