I AM CREATING A BUSINESS PLAN AND I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE SOME EXAMPLES FROM MY INDUSTRY TO REFER TO. WOULD ANYONE BE WILLING TO SHARE THEIR B.P. WITH ME IN THE FORM OF AN ATTACHMENT OR AT LEAST SHOOT ME SOME KEY POINTS TO FOCUS ON IN EACH SECTION OF THE BUSINESS PLAN. I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. :help:

At this point I have the summary of the B.P. telling the audiance what the plan will contain. A breif discription of the product/services I will be offering along with a 10 year plan that is still being worked out. As for any financial information pertaining to how much revenue is estimated yearly and amount of money that will be needed in case of loans. I got the main layout and all that i should have in the B.P., however just need to know how to voice the information and get it correct the first time.

Books...

Business plans for dummies
E-Myth Mastery

Do you want a business plan or a business model? (IMO models are more effective/helpful when just starting out... or always for that matter, unless you need a loan without three years financial history)

JDUtah, I have been working on both. i have somwhat steered away from the model until i get the business plan done. My business plan is actually going to be my final for one of my BS college courses. I will finish the business model in the near future here though. I looked at the BP for dummies and it is def packed with some hardcore Info, I am a bit conservitive on my budget right ow though so i have been just taking info off of the Internet and i received a small business guide from my state here in mn which shares allot of inside perspectives on what the plan should contain.

here's what I have in my business plan...

A) Executive summary
B) Mission, Goals & Objectives
C) Business Description, Services Provided, Facilities & Equipment
D) Market Analysis, Competition Analysis
E) Risk Management, Personnel, Functions, Payroll, Communication
F) Operation/Management Plan
G) Financial Plans: Projected Cash Flow, Budget, Project Sales, Historical P&L's & Balance Sheets

I did not come up with this structure on my own. I tweaked it from a few different books.
