I'm a Deere man, but my local lazer dealer {50 miles away} just sent me his prices on new 2002 full-size Lazers - 25 kohler/60" $7295.00, 26EPS/60" $9495.00, 27LC Kawasaki/60" $8195.00, plus tax. How do these prices compare to other areas? He has came down on the 25/60" and 27LC/60" lazer $500.00 since last year. Still has the same price on the EPS.

:blob2: lee, 60'lazer w/ the 26 hp EFI is 9,799 up here, just bought a bobcat yesterday with the same EFI engine and a 60" deck for 8,195, best price around had to jump on it. Tony
Those prices seem pretty good to me. I just bought a 2002 Lazer hp, 52" 23 Kohler. It was $7399.00 + tax. I get very good service from my dealer but he's pretty set on his pricing.

Lee,
Jump on it man! Not sure where in S.E. Georgia you are, but here in Vladosta, they're going like hotcakes at $7,995. The EFI and air ride seat'll cost you $1,500 more. Where are you located?

i got my lazer 60 inch and 25 kohler for about the same price you have listed. mowers in the northeast seem more expensive then everywheres else though, so i got a good deal from what ive been told.

A 25 horsepower Kohler with 60 inch deck sells for $8499 here in KY. Price went up from 8 grand last year but Exmark added alot of extras like the dual stage air filter and foot assist deck lift.
The 26 H.P EFI machine with 60" deck goes for $9499 was $500 more last year. All those prices are here in Lexintgon KY.
Either way I still think Exmark is the best machine in the business.

On the EFI I ment $500 less last year. All those current prices are for 2002 models I priced at an Open House.
I paid 8k two seasons ago for a 60' w/25 kohler. The dealer is 3 miles from my shop and that is worth a lot to me. He has a guarentee - if any of my machines goes down, he'll loan us a demo unit for as long as it takes to fix ours. Thats paid for any premium price several times over.

ealbertson,
I could swear I gave you this information before but here goes again. You can buy lazers even cheaper than that right here in Virginia. Call Brandells in fairfax. Their number is 703-323-7039. 60" Lazers for $6750. They have had this price for a couple years now.

i just got back from exmark dealer. This trip has changed my mind. My next mower will be an exmark! Dealer said if machine is done i get any used machine i want and he can have it fixed on average between 3 and 4 hours. The maintnence department there handles all my 2cycle equipment even if i didnt buy it there free of charge. The owner was very helpful and is not trying to sell me the most expensive machine. He said "landscapers are my top priority no matter what size company they have and how many things they have bought here." Great guy IMO. They are having open house with exmark reps on april 19th and i will be there.
the only thing that bummed me out was that you guys are getting 60/25 kohler lazers for $500 less than an 52/23 lazerhp here. o well great service balances the price a little.
