I was involved in a project that did just that. Sent schedules to the execs while they were in china and let them do the same back.

It required dedicated company push servers and outlook professional 2003. Way too much investment for a lawn care company IMO.

Maybe have your wife text you the new meeting?

If your smart phone has internet... Google Calendar would be perfect. Your wife enters the new stuff online... you can instantly review it / update it in the field. You can even have it automatically send you reminder texts.

I have my iPhone set up to update my computer and my computer to update my iphone automatically. I had to purchase a www.me.com subscription through apple to get the "push" capability. I can enter data at either spot or log on to the net through any computer and update calendar and it is instantly "pushed" to all devices.

Cool thing is I have a an online calendar for my website which shows customers when I am booked and when I am available. It updates in minutes. Customers have been loving the ability to see when I am booked and when they can work me into their schedules :).

You need:

iPhone
Computer with calendar program
www.me.com subscription ($99 a year)

more info can be found here: http://www.apple.com/iphone/features/calendar.html

Can u send me a PM or post your website so I can look at how you implemented your calendar.

If your on-the-road device has Wi-fi you can just set it up on a network with your
home pc being a part of that network, then have it synchronize often, like
every time you turn it on or another option is like every 5-10 minutes.

This should be fairly easy with just about any smart phone with internet access and using something like outlook.
When you make a calendar entry you could use the Invite attendee feature when entered. That will send a email to you and prompt you that you have a new agenda item.
And no special software costs except for the data plan you will need for your phone to get on the internet.
I will warn you most smart phones are pricy and they are not made for harsh environments so I keep mine in the truck.

You need an OtterBox for your smart phone.
