where to start getting bigger accounts

where do you start with getting the opportunity to bid on bigger places. People talk all the time about placing these big bids, but where do you start? Do the call you? Do you walk into a company and ask? Do you call or email? I have tons of little properties that i take care of, but want some of the slightly bigger places. Do you call management companies? Any help in this area would be great!

All of the above. I call and try to set a time to meet. If they are not taking bids ask when they normally do and take notes for the next year. Be on time be polite.
