advertising on Craigslist???

just trying to see if alot of guys put ads on Craigslist.....???????????? i am thinkin about it but not sure. what do you guys think

use the words lawn service,cut grass,lawns cut by doing all of these if someone types cut not service you maybe the only one comes up.
think of something to say that sets you apart. why use you? answer that ?
make sure you go do your est fast- sometimes thats why you get the lawn.
good luck--- you must post under service or they will keep deleting your add under for sale.

Oh man I put an ad on there for an employee to and the phone never stopped ringing. I seriously don't even remember who was who. I think it cost liked 25 bucks. The first guy I had chosen sounded so good on the phone. First day he does not even show up.

Lots of temp agent call and act like they want a job. Salesmen looking for leads . Thats the only problem but. I never paid anything for my adds there.
never heard of there paid adds but there are some paid lawn and auto service which are paid and seem to have no rules like the free adds.
But it is free and if you get one customer they may lead to others. I have the time. Dwight

When I have it really hasn't done much good for me I seem to get calls from a lot of cheap people and from not in the areas I work in even when I put the locations I will work. I have gotten some good deals on equipment so its not all bad.

craigs list add should read :
i am cheap i have no ins and i drink alot of beer..haha that seems to be the craigs list clientele. i dont advertise on there all you get is cheap azzes. theres a guy on the in jax that will cut grass for 18.00$ yep i said 18.00$ per cut.. low baller ...

It worked for me decently - i got 4 good customers off it - just list like a flyer would read and be honest.

Well I cut some lawns near my house for $25.00 CUT ,TRIM AND CLEAN UP THERE NOT REAL BIG. I also cut a women who is 81 years old every week for free during the season. Can't do many of those. And i do have Insurance and 2 lic. Dwight's

If you are not using craigs list you are missing out on money. I post ads there all the time and get very good response. It is free to use. My first maintenance contract from there was a pre-pay for 6 months worth of service. USE IT!
