Looking to get any positive and/or negative feedback on computer software that your landscape business is using for invoicing and estimating.
We have gathered some negative and positive feedback for the grounds keeper pro software, what are your thoughts on this???? or any other software that landscape businesses are using.
We do residential and commercial lawn maintenance, fertilizing, snow plow/removal, and salting.
Thanks for any input that you could provide on this subject.

I'm not real familiar with many but I do know that groundskeeper pro is very popular...as of right now we use quickbooks but I am looking for something more field oriented as well like groundskeeper...Gopher is another fairly popular brand

I don't use formal estimates that much but I do Invoice and or send Statements out to all my customers every month.
And I do it all with Quickbooks PRO.
Takes a while to setup but.
With mine it prints all my invoices and or statements and estimates. Prints dun letters. Prints out my envelopes using mail merge with word.
Syncs my customer contact info with Outlook which I sync with my phone.
And after all that it does my accounting.
If you don't like some of the features you can use other software that will interface with it.
Does it sound like I like Quickbooks? YES

qExpress is good. Works in conjunction with Quickbooks. If you use quickbooks, I would definately get qexpress. it's like $600 for the basic version, but worth every penny.
We use ESC for our irrigation work, but that is like a $8k program.

I use Groundskeeper for all the lawn maintenance and Quickbooks for all design and installation. I find Groundskeeper is great and very easy to work with and they even have a preprinted invoicing paper you can buy that has a perforated tear off stub at the bottom for customers to send back. Oh and they also have nice double window envelopes for you to send the invoices and smaller return envelopes that match the tear off stub. Works great for the res. and com. maintenance and any other services you would perform on those customers properties and would bill them for with their maintenance. As far as design and install jobs, I use the quick books as it is far more customizable and allows for very detailed estimates and invoices. google groundskeeper pro for their website. I think its www.adkad.com though

I've used this online software the 1st year in business with satisfactory results. They constantly update and try to improve the software while listening to your input.

I love Quickbooks. For me, the best part is I can easily go back and fix any mistakes. The accounting reports are great too.
