I'd like to know the answer to this question too as I too will be making more flyers soon.

well there is a local company here that i use. they make there money on the design process. i was offering assistance in the design just because i like doing it and i like networking. my fee is very nominal. design houses tend to charge around 75.00 phr. so you see how sitting around changing things and exchanging ideas can add up real fast.
i just want lunch and gas money. unless you plan on getting really detailed and elaborate or you know you are a p.i.t.a. then we might have to up the ante.

i don't know if this is the best place (by comparison) but i got my advertising magnets at vistaprint online. i'm satisfied.

I got mine done by nextdayflyer.com. I used the economy service and got 2000 flyers for around $130 (including shipping). Only thing I would do differnetly is to get the door knob style flyers to make it easier to hang them on doors or mailbox flags.
