View Full Version : Bidding commercial chain-advice needed

This is my second year in the business and I am going to be bidding on 4 locations of a fast food chain. The work to be done is mowing, trimming and blowing off the parking lot and walkways, once per week. I am estimating that the work will take approx. 30, maybe 45 minutes to complete on each site. The owner would like it priced for each location.

I have never bid on a commercial property before and am looking for some advice/guidance on how to do so. What kind of hourly rate would you charge, do you bid the same as residential? Is $50 per cut sound too high/too low for each site?

Any help on bidding commercial would be helpful, and thanks in advance!
