I was sold a bac vac for a mini z, it was suppose to be for a super z. now im stuck with it, im under the understanding that the only thing that is the same is the hopper, is that correct?

Yes, the only thing the same between them is the hopper assembly.
Mounting bracket and blower assembly is totally different.
Where did you buy it? a Hustler dealer?

no unfortunately, an individual that had my money spent less than an hour after i left his house. Do you know how much everything but the hopper would cost for a super z? 60" deck

I don't have pricing by looking it up by individual parts, it would be at least 1/2 to 3/4 of a new unit.
If you need to buy it piece by piece I would look up the parts and get with a dealer and see what they can work out for you for pricing.

Yes it will, same exact mounting and blower.

I have someone interested in it but he wants to know the product number to make sure it will work on his unit. I am unable to find any numbers or date of manufacture on the bagger, where can i find them? Thanks

sorry, one more question. He would like to know if mine is for a 44 inch deck or a 52 inch deck. What is the difference between the two? and How do I know which one I have? Thank you

The difference between the 2 is the mounting.
Here are the model #'s
Kit, BAC-VAC 52" Deck, Mini Z / Super Mini Z model # 303867K
Kit, BAC-VAC 44" Deck, Mini Z / Super Mini Z model # 303842K

The ID tag should be on the frame that mounts to the mower, if it hasnt been pressured washed off.
