new or used ???

should i buy new stihl equipment for about 1200 or buy it all used for about 500 ??? any thought im just starting out with no yards yet

I would say go with the used if you know that it is in good shape. But if it seems to be a shady deal I would just keep on looking or go ahead and buy new. Nothing saying you have to get it all at one time. Your money, my 02
