We currently offer full service lawn care services but would like to expand slowly into your area of expertise. Where should we start. Classes, reading material? Any input would be great. Thanks

Classes, reading material. YES.

Maybe hire someone with install experience and learn from them. Or, go work for someone who installs and learn there.

Hands on is the best way to hone the skills.

Best thing to do is read the thread at the top of the Irrigation section

Getting started (http://www.lawnsite.com/showthread.php?t=156145)

Then ask some more specific questions

Or do like Russ did: buy a established business and keep the ex-owner on.

A short morning should be sufficient.

I think he's talking about sprinklers, not tree climbing.
