Hello, this is probably a classic new guy question. But I will ask anyway. What do you all include in a spring cleanup? I am in south Louisiana and I am unsure if our typical spring cleanup would differ from those in the north. Thanks for your help.

Up here we remove a debris from beds and lawn (sticks, leaves, etc), remove old flower stems, prune dead branches from shrubs, and I usually do a lawn dethatch/rake.

This is what I'm offering (new also), and I'm in E. Texas.
Removal of leaves and other winter 'leftovers'
Spring haircut for your hedges/bushes and plants
Basic pruning and clean up on flowering plants such as Crape Myrtle, Roses and other similar plants.
Initial mowing and clean up of your lawn areas, including string trimmer clean up and edging of pavement areas
Flower bed and planting area clean up - removal of winter overgrowth
Initial mulch application of up to 20 cubic feet of mulch
20 cubic feet typically covers 20' x 3' x 2" depth of newly applied mulch
* additional mulching available as requested
Evaluation and recommendation of ongoing lawn and landscape maintenance

What you will find is Customers are NOT all the same,
some will want this while others want that.....
advertise for Spring clean up's,
then when you get a call the customer will have an ideal of what they want.
Just sit back and listen, very few will say "what's included."
one of my best spring Cleanups happened a few years ago, she wanted her grague cleaned out too, we struck a gold mine in there. lawnmowers, desk, a fridge, trimmers. tools, you name it we found it.
