I saw this on Machinery Trader. Has anyone ever seen one of these in action? Who makes them? What do you guys think?

Dumb question: How does it work? ;)
It looks like he is using it to cut curb grade. I am not sure how it works but it looks like both sides can be run at different grades. It looks like a low flow attachment. I wonder if he is using a string grade like a paver or if it is laser driven. Typical laser guiding is not effective for curb grade because of the continuous variations, but maybe they are using it differently. I don't think I have ever seen anything like it. Scary since I live this stuff.

I'm not sure if this was posted here before or not. This is a funky set up also.

What the crap? ;) :dizzy:
Rock Set about pulled the trigger on that set up. I talked to them at ConExpo. Its a killer set up. Big money, but a great way to knock out long runs of sidewalk.

Not sure what happened with the second photo of the Case. I'll try it again.
I take back my first observation. It is a high flow attachment. Must take some hp to run. Looks like a great way to grade for curb. If any one has a link to the ad, please post it.

Could he be setting up for a sidewalk with the Powertan?
Those are definitely some unique setups there.

Well, that's not something you see everyday.

I think it's for doing slab and pavement thickening jobs, I've done a few with an excavator, it's like having a footing under the edges.

I have seen those in Machinery Trader, thought they were cool. Then you follow with the skidsteer slip form curb machine. I love seeing guys think this stuff up, just wish I could afford it.
