sod and aeration

Should sod that was laid in October be aerated in the spring or left alone.
This is a lawn in Nebraska, where this year anyway winter didnt show up until February.

Sod laid that late in the season should be fine until fall.
I have found a good rule to be once the seams are no longer visible the sod has rooted well enough to aerate.

I agree with Bob, once you can't see the seam, you can be pretty sure that it has taken. I would personally wait untill the fall, just to be sure. You don't want to have to replace it!
