how much would you guys charge for aerating and thatching for a lawn aproximately 20,000 sq.ft.

is that 20,000 "easy" square feet or 20,000 "tough" square feet? , meaning how difficult is the property?

I charge $20 per 1000 sq ft to power rake (thats power rake area, rake up grass, mow for that finished look) plus $32 per truckload hauled away= $432. I'd estimate a 5 to 6 manhour job.

I charge $7 per 1000 sq ft to aerate= $140.00, customer must mark sprinkler heads.

$400 dethacthing

$160 aeration

$560 total thatch hauled away at $100 an hour to load truck.

I'm only $1 more per 1000 for aeration than Ground Master.

Same price for dethatching, but could be the same for hauling.

We don't dethatch here much. But for aerating I would be around $200
