Forestry Suppliers is my favorite catalog. My new concept in irrigation water management will be to test the house water, do a soil test, service the system, audit, put together a watering program, leave behind helpful info on water savings, plant choices, and soil management, sign them to a service contract, and send the landscape, high end landscape maintenance, and irrigation overhaul/upgrades your way. (For a small commission:))

Save the money for one of those personal recorders, if you can't get out of the rain to write something down.

I've tried that concept. Doesn't work with me. I have an unopened one I got at a DIA raffle. John?

It would make a cool option for a bluetooth phone. Speak "memo" into the mike, and record.

I believe the IPhone has that APP. Need to also be able to have it replay the memo based on dates as well.

Another expensive toy to drop into a valve box full of water.

PC based and it doesn't fit in the backpocket. A waterproof IPhone that would be real progress. Kiril do you have a favorite ET and water program calculation site? Just want to compare it to the TX Aggie site and software (also pc based grrrrrr)

That is also MS-Dos and I think the aggie version is a knock off of that one. (Makes sense, not like their is a 100 ways to do ET) I'm going to have to get a Parallel Program for my MAC. Things run awful in X-11

I hope you can do it Pete, and Ill do anything I can to help. All that might be a tough sell up here.

We'll see what happens. I may have to evolve a little but a rolling stone gathers no moss!
I saw they have a give away program on the auditing issue.
Oh and one of my suppliers as a "Thank You I'm Going To Miss You" sold me a brand new RM UA remote for a 1,000.00. He's also going to put a pigtail order together as well. The remote and pigtails are the backbone to my sales approach. Baby step the customer along.
I'm not giving the supply house name out cuz I don't want it being used against them.

Is it dos ... may very well be, irrigation software has always lagged way behind. Wouldn't be that big of a deal to duplicate it with PHP so it could be run cross-platform.
With respect to running two different OS's real time, look no further than Virtual Box.
