i bought one. It was okay but not too realistic. I play ultra realistic games where I can drive tanks so I don't think equipment would be too much different as long as I could crunch things!

yep .
It might be interesting. How about making it somewhat educational at the same time. I would like to learn to run a road grader. It would be cool if there was a grader simulator type game, I guess like the simulator flight games you see. If you could buy equipment specfic games, that would be a bonus. Make it realistic, the better the technique the more dirt you move, the better you score. It might be kinda difficult to create but if it was realistic enough, you could sell a lot of them I would think.

Thats what I was thinking..
Except incorporate a game, so like you have to go through a school and get certified to run the equipment before you can either start a company of your own or go work for a company and work your way through the ranks.. I am just worried we'll want it to realistic and then be dissappointed with it when we do get it..

No....if you have time to me playing with machines on a computer then you don't have enough to do in the real world
But CAT sponsored one a while back I had...nothing spectacular

Nope, I like the VR games where I can touch a pair of boobies better.

I would buy one if it had a mode that you took the biggest equipment and had the ability to destroy a city. It would have to have a good physics engine that changes how things break based on force, angle, material strength, etc (like Pixelux's DMM engine), however.
