Do you think that the name itself is too dark and will be hard to read form a distance?

Hmmm, hard to tell from the computer... maybe if you had J.R. Services in White, stroked with green....???
JR Services in green stroked with brown from the tree trunk???
Not sure about the 'snow management' either...
Overall, I dig the fonts and design...

Yes. Name is too dark.

Great layout and my two cents are do you want your name and trim to be the same color being your trim is also acting as a frame?

not 100%, but I think bushogging should be two words. If you need it to be 1 word probably need another "H"

it gonna be on a white/greyish magnet with maybe a green or black border.

FYI - Bush hogging is two words...

name looks good up close, but it will be hard to read from a distance. make it white letters with the black outline.

I do the like the 2nd one a lot better....making that name stand out!
02-24-2009, 09:23 AM
right on... it pops now....

the over all desing looks great to me, but I do agree with others the name is way to dark, need to be lightened somehow

I'm thinking that this is going to be it. I've showed it some other people, got their input and this seems to be the best fit. Thanks for all your input.

Try a hyphen in there.....Bush-Hogging. Looks real good!

Much better and now your name really POPs off the sign to instead of blending into the sign... looks great

Curious what program you are using to work your logo with?
02-25-2009, 09:12 PM
What color truck is it going on? I really like the second one.

I'm actually very lucky and have a friend that is doing this for me, as you can see he does great work.
I'm probably going to get 2-3 16"x32" white/lighter magnets for the truck (2 doors and tailgate) and one decal approx 2x3 to put on a sheet of metal for the gate of the trailer.
This the truck that I have for now, which will do me until I get some money moving and the hay market picks back up.

Final design looks good.....from the first I was gonna suggest a white outline around the name to help it pop out more
