Diesel fuel is 3.55 a gallon for on road fuel and marked diesel is around 2.96 a gallon. Yes fuel prices have dropped here its nice to see diesel back down to 96 cents per litre.
I doubt the price of diesel will drop any lower not in Canada.

Here in Ontario its about 78 cents/litre gas and diesel. I thought that was cheap, but I went to Michigan earlier this week and filled my truck up for 60 bucks! Its cheap to live in the states eh!

Yes fuel in the USA is considerably cheaper than it is here in Canada. Thank the Canadian gov't for the high fuel cost. Here in B.C. its the tax on the fuel that makes our fuel expensive.

$1.39 for Diesel? That's damn cheap. I paid $2.19 a few days ago. Offroad bulk hasn't been much cheaper than the truck stops for a while now. It's only been about $.10-$.15 per gallon cheaper.

I also can't stand how Pilot charges $.06 per gallon more than the posted prices on the sign when you use a credit card.:hammerhead: The posted price is the cash price, because everybody pays cash when you buy 100+ gallons at a time, for a business.

yeah off road was $1.39 a gallon as of yesterday, on road diesel was like $1.79 or close to it. Given these prices are from US fleet fuels stations, those stations where there is just a pump and no building, you have to be a member to join and get a card. but in the long run $0.50 a gallon cheaper sure can add up quick in savings. Now we can lower the equipment rates to what they were before the gas crisis and still make good money.

True it is cheaper here but our gov. is taxing pretty heavy too. It's more (i think) about consumption. The old theory the more you buy the less you pay. We sure buy and burn a lot of fuel in this country. I think nearly 25% global consumption. We are a good customer.

There is alot of road tax on our fuel I can't remember how many cents per litre but its high I would say its gotta be 50 cents per litre or 1.85 per US gallon of fuel.
Even in Alberta where the oil sands are the cost of fuel is sky high. It is just the gov't and its rotten taxes. Canada is taxed to death everything you buy your income etc all has a tax on it.
Nothing you can do the real pizz off is the road tax on the fuel doesn't go towards the repair and upgrades on the roads it goes to pay for the politicians 1/4 to 1/2 million dollar a year salary.
