What is the best way to get my name out? Been using friends and family. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Put your name on your vehicle to start with as youíre a mobile billboard.
Iím surprised at how many vehicles I see with out signage and all the business you could be passing up.

Customer service is the key. Put out fliers and just do good work. Name recognition is really important.

Flyer, baggie, rocks...throw into driveway. This gave me about a 10% return. Sorry. Cheesy, not very professional but that's how I got my first accounts. After that was local phone book listing...$85/year, then word of mouth.

:nono: This is what the customers think of those who put rocks in a baggie with a flyer and throw it. Look! NOT Happy!:nono:

What did you do search for every flyer-in-a-baggie post and point them to this ancient blog?

No, Sorry, I didn't check how old this blog was! But I was looking for ad ideas off of lawnsite, and came across that blog, with em all complaining about flyers in a baggie, and thought others might want to see what their customers thought, because I'm sure lots of lawn care guys want to know opinions of their targeted customers. I posted it where I thought the MOST people whom had discussed the topic might find it so they can read it and see if it is a benefit to know what the customers think. I was just now going to do another post about where to get 5000 full color flyers, 2 sided, on gloss paper, with UV coating for ONLY $219.00 and I was going to post it wherever I thought it would do the most good too!
