So yesterday I was in a vault testing a 10" fire suppression assembly. I was in there for about an hour and was extremely frustrated because I could not shut of #1 SOV ( big ass gate valve. )
As I opened up my High bleed to flush the tester I evidently over tightened it while closing it :(.
I Just spent about 2 hours going through 100 different web sites and pdf files looking for a replacement valve for the back flow tester.
Now I know I can take it to Mid-west service repair (there actually quite a few other companies around here that cali / repair) ... But a repair minimum is $250- $300...
If they have the valve to replace it... Why can't I get the valve to replace it and do it my self!
