Is there a good source for 1/4hp-1/2hp booster pumps for a rain harvesting system? I'm trying to keep the pricing in the $200-$250 range for these pumps.

Any good irrigation supply house should be able to take care of you. Service/customer support comes first in my book. Worst case scenario, if you supplier challenged, TSC carries a 1/2HP irrigation jet pump in that range. Step up just a bit, and they do a 1HP pump as well. They do honor warranties if needed, etc.
