Echo 2cy.oil or Castrol TT ?

I just bought a solo blower that recommends castrol TT oil,does anyone know if I could use echo premium oil instead?
also is synthetic oil(2 cy. ) any good?

I would try to use the oil that is recommended by the manufacturer. When I purchased my Echo PB603 blower, I was informed by the Echo rep that the warranty is voided if a different 2 cycle oil is used. The rep also said that the factory does check this if the unit is returned for a major problem. Just something to think about.
