Any of you guys use a bobcat (or similar) seeder?? I am seeing alot more call for seeding this year than in the past (people are a little tighter w/the $$). Was wondering how they work, and what you guys have to charge to get your money out of them. Bobcat wants about $6k for one!

I don't know how much the 3pt adapter for the BobTach system is, but you might want to look into that and then look into a Brillon seeder. If I recall correctly the 72" model runs around $3500. As for how they work they produce a good stand in our experience.

I have no complaints with ours we got it at the end of June last year. We picked it up as a demo unit (quick tach mount not the three point) for $4500 I believe looked brand new yet and still got the zero percent financing on it so I thought it was a fair deal. It takes some time to get the settings down for the seed rates of different seeds but after that it goes fast.
