Tell me what you think
Listing things we do will be on a different part of the sign, this is just the main logo which will also be on the back of shirts etc

oh my truck is black as well as trailers and dump truck..
02-27-2009, 09:51 AM
I actually don't mind the 'wipe' with trees... totally different.
but I'm not a fan of the chosen fonts.... to "techi" for me....
02-27-2009, 09:52 AM
Like the layout though?
reason i chose the font and the clip art design was modern and state of the art so to speak..
02-27-2009, 09:56 AM
I'm diggin' the 'wipe'...... yea.... incorporating the ProTurf/Landscaping..... that's gonna be tricky.... maybe solid lettering, gradient down, blending with the graphic... All orange tones....
it's definately modern.... contemp.... but the fonts scream computers/digital... that's just my opinion though, don't take it to heart....

Am not one to take things serious and get upset.. lol why would i ask if i didnt want feedback.. appreciate all input good and bad..
I have a few other fonts i was fooling around with and will post them when i get back in later on today..

1st is Heather
2nd is Magneto
3rd is Modern no 20
02-27-2009, 06:44 PM
have to recenter the first two i see...lol
02-27-2009, 06:57 PM
I'm leaning towards the the first one....
not the original first, but the bolder letters first one.
02-27-2009, 07:20 PM
A slightly different approach....
didn't realize you had some green in the leaves....

wait a minute, mines resemble the ProTurf magazine fonts, no?
02-27-2009, 08:39 PM
Magazine>? I like the orange lettering. i think it pops off the black background which will blend into the truck.. I think i may like your layout though with Landscaping up close and under Pro Turf the last one you posted.. Hmmmm

I like your first redo and Carolina's #2. Is the a "wiping" font curious to see what that would look like
03-02-2009, 12:19 PM
The first logo you submitted is similiar to the Dixie Chopper font, but theirs has the breakup in just the middle of the letter, that font would look good and make for a quick read!-being in graphics for nearly 20 years one thing remains the same!--BOLD is better---
03-02-2009, 11:26 PM
Well this is the one i went with
03-02-2009, 11:33 PM
green writing down in the lower corner. or the original that you posted
catchy material man

I have always been a huge fan of the magneto font. Thats what I plan to do on my cards and trailer

Well he might be putting it in a different spot also...Currently I have my logo on the door and my number is below the logo
03-04-2009, 12:40 AM
Nope...I like the one you went with the best.
03-04-2009, 10:34 AM
I am putting it in a different spot... this is just logo and name .. a list of services will be located else where as will number depending on what this will be attached to... trailer, shirts, truck etc...
thanks for all the feedback

You are putting on black truck and shirts?...so basically the black background won't be cut or printed, you will use that as your background correct?...number under the Landscaping?...versus trying to include in the swish...to busy if you do that...
03-04-2009, 08:04 PM
well background will be black on black truck and black trailer and black background as you see on orange shirts... number will not be on shirt and different location on pick up will be on bed rail on dump will be on dump body someplace and on trailer will be below the logo and above the services lists.. So if you imagine my logo as a sticker which i can put anywhere and on anything any color and just had to add phone number depending on what its on
