Does anyone know where I might find a .pdf manual for a Kohler Magnum 20, Model M205, Spec 49501?
No, not the PX-49501!!!
It was made ca. 1988 or thereabouts, the red Kohler.
That's other than Kohler.com and Google :p

Try eBay. They list both parts and service manuals for horizontal and verticle Kohler Magnum 20's.

You do realize the site I offered is actually owned by Kohler and they have far more info on there and it is all free right?

That was my thing, if I wanted to pay for it I could have ordered a paperback one. :p
Frustrating enough they now have all these free pdf manuals that I paid good money for some.
It does make me wonder thou...
In terms of the economy a lot of stuff is getting to be this way and that can't be good, on the other
hand who could beat saving a tree for free, certainly I think a lot of companies might want to start
making adjustments to the way they make a profit.

I am curious as to if kohler knows about that other site. They might not be too happy with those people for charging money for their copyright materials.
There is tons of info on kohler plus. The partslookup leaves some to be desired. I have looked up engines that according to kohlerplus did not come with a carb...LOL. But the service and owners manuals are very easy to grab. Some of the other literature is a bit harder to navigate.

Sometimes the manufacturer adds the carbs so Kohler would not know which one to show. Propane and gasoline versions as an example. Same applies to mufflers.
