Sorry I haven't heard of it
Dr Dirt, Howard garrett is in Dallas and has an extensive list on his site.

Is this to be mixed into the soil before laying the sod?

Also known as Alamo-Gro, Premium Compost is made from recycled wood chips and plant material with Class A biosolids. This 100% recycled blend improves soil structure and is ideal for all landscape applications. This rich compost can be used up to 20 % in the top 6 inches of a growing area.

My opinion .... just find a local source of bulk compost and save yourself some money.

I agree with Kiril, you can buy in bulk locally and get a much better deal. Ask the local composter if they test the product when it is finished

if there is a lot of steam coming off of the pile, or it has heat to it, it is not finished, don't use it. If you reach into the pile and it has the smell of ammonia or other bad smells do not use it. weed seeds and other bad guys are still present if the compost does either of these things

It is going fo $35.00 a yard, landscape company stated I can space out pieces of St. Augustine and use this as a filler, also spread it across the established lawn as a type of natural feed.........

St Augustine spreads quickly when warm out and the soil is nice to great
Ideally incorporate it into the first couple of inches with a rototiller, if not then get down a 1/2 inch or so before putting the sod down

if this is a long term client take the time and do it right, it is rare that we get to start from scratch, a little extra effort will pay off in the long term
