I have a Redmax 25.4cc, model BCZ2600S. I have about 3 years of use from it. This past week it started bogging down on me. It would barely start and would hardly run. Every time I gave it gas it bogged down. I replaced the fuel filter, spark plug, and rebuilt the carb. It still does the same thing. Adjusted the throttle several times and dould checked the carb. Has anybody had this problem or knows how to fix it? Thanks.

This happens to all of my redmax, just take off the muffler pull the starter string until you see the piston in the upstroke and then carefully clean out your exhaust port with a screwdriver or anything you can get to work, but be carefull not to hit the piston if you can help it. THEN see that screen that is there, take that out and gently throw it inthe nearest trash can. lol that should solve it.

Thanks Matlock. I cleaned it real well. It wasn't to bad, but it was a little clogged. When I first pulled it, it shot carbon buildup dust everywhere. Mine didn't have the screen you were talking about. I guess the dealer already had taken it out or they didn't put one in at the factory. I started it up and it cranked on the third pull. It seemed good, it fired like it used to. Ran like a champ. Thank you for the help.
