I know I need to know my costs, still trying to figure the best way to price.

I can find all of these for cost/K then tack on 25%?

Estimate how long it will take to do (flat vs hilly, trees vs open) and add on hourly rate of $60.00/hr

I've talked to other guys who do it differently, like multiply so many times the cost per bags, or 2x the cost + hourly wage and so on.

Is the above a sound way to estimate. Is 25% mark up enough?

My product costs run about 25% of my price. Your price should be as high as YOUR market will bare.

Athletic Field that sounds very good. I do cost times four for my pricing and if a property goes above 15k then it is x3.5 after 30k its 3k and after 1 acre it is 2.5 and stays there.

I might go to 2x on very large properties like above 5 acres.

On small yards you won't make enough. Some major compainies do a "stop charge" (around $25), ( to cover overhead and cost to arrive). Then add a charge for product and a charge for labor per thousand sqft. There is often an extra charge for optional insecticide.
