I am seriously considering purchasing the armada pr0700 wire locator. I can get it for $575 but before i spend this much money does anyone have any comments, suggestions, etc. About this locator and the price?

My understanding is it is pretty similar to 521. I wouldn't trade in a working 521 thinking it is a major upgrade. Has some features I like though. Longer wand, uses different batteries(D cell I think). i think this is a price point issue.

A used in good shape 521 at 350.00 or a new Armada at 575.00. I guess I'd go with the Armada since I'm tired of bending over with the old style 521.

geez! A brand new 521 is $1153 at the same site. Glad both mine were used. Too bad I never use 'em.

I have the older/original protech 600.

I likes it. I never used a 521, so can't compare.

I have found valves with it, thou.
