What is the best way to remove moss out of a lawn?

Put lime down and aerate. Aeration will allow the soil to breath and dry. Moss is usually growing because of a moisture/drainage problem.
Also, Scotts makes something that a friend of mine put down and it worked pretty good. It was for moss. Probably has lime in it.

If you want to get rid of moss in lawns quickly just apply Iron sulphate,its gone in a jiffy.Mix it into a watering can and apply.
