There was a thread about what boots everyone wears, so I figured why not see what type of gloves others use? I use regular black chemical resistant ones from TruValue. Figure there really isn't much difference when it comes to chemical resistant ones. They wear out pretty quick and really aren't coomfortable.

Also, what about worker gloves for aerating. I've used leather type JDL. Lasted about 3 weeks before they ripped. Stihl lasted about a week before a hole poked through the finger.

For spraying I use nitrile gloves. I buy them from sams club. They are like $10 for a box of 100. I wear a new pair at every stop. Much more sturdy than latex:)

My trick

Is to use a hand lotion in my gloves. I find my hands get chaped if I don't use a hand cream like "Corn Huskers". The by product is smooth hands or touching things I enjoy touching. :)

Good idea Ric,
I puchase nitrile gloves either from our TSC--Quality Farm Supply--or Co-ops. I get those heavy black or blue gloves that are lined with "FUZZ".
We have a couple of outlets that sell surplus or out of stock buy-down items. They have a ton of gloves for our industrial workers (Frito-lay, Butterball,Post,Great-Dane) These companies keep us supplied so we don't have to buy out of state...
Even after an hour of spraying, with fuzz lined gloves, I can pour out water from within the gloves. Hand lotion is a blessing! Not to mention the wrinkled hand syndrome we get.
