Purchased 4 gallons of F30 today. I have a pond that is 2 acre ft of water.

I plan on doing two separate applications of F30 for this pond as instructed by the supply house reps.

Question 1: label says water temps of 60+. here is our 10 day forecast: http://www.weather.com/outlook/recreation/outdoors/tenday/USTX0020?from=36hr_fcst10DayLink_outdoors
Besides thermometer in the water, does it look like the temp will be sufficient? just trying to save a drive out there, and end up having to turn around.

Question 2: label says either spray with 5gal water/1 gal product, or boat through the pond and dump behind the boat.
I don't have a boat, but I have a 200gal spray tank. should I just mix this in my tank, and use a jd9 gun? Could I use more water, rather than 1:5 mix?

thanks.

I have never used F 30 but took a quick look at the label. IMHO I think you will do fine using more water and a JD9 gun. I will caution you to clean your rig real good before using it for Aquatic work. I might also suggest running straight water back into the pond with it to clean out all the product after spraying the pond.

Great idea, I'll mix maybe 100 gallons of water or so and dump in 2 gallons of the F30. there is a small stream that feeds the pond, so that will give me enough time to soak everything pretty good.

on another note, i replaced the solenoid on my lesco 200 gallon sprayer, but couldnt get it to turn over. thought the switch might be bad, but got frustrated and ended up giving up. going to take it to the guy who does all the lesco work here in town. hopefully he can get the auto reel working again for minimal money.

thanks.
