Shade area seeding

I've been getting alot of calls about getting grass to grow in backyards with large shade trees where the grass has thinned out. My luck with this has been so so at best. Does anyone know if there are any options out there except your usual fescue seeding? Thanks for any help.

Nothing wrong with fescue for shade, Just add some AR in the mix. REdo everyspring most likely.
