anyone have a quick FOOLPROOF way of telling if pump or motor just bombed. Left side quit driving. there is lots or glitter in the hyd reservoir. afraid that the shrapnel has infiltrated everywhere and we will have to buy 2 pumps and 2 motors. these things are awesome. buy more in a heartbeat. approx 2500 hrs on it.

Dont worry, you will not need 2 pumps and motors. You will not have cross contamination.
If the wheel motor went out first it would have destroyed the pump too. I would pull the wheel motor apart and see how it is. If everything looks good. Clean it all out, clean all hoses, clean tank, replace filter and put in a new hydro pump and you will be good. If the wheel motor is bad you will have to put in a motor and a pump.
