Redmax 7001 problem

I have a Redmazx 7001 blower when I go to start it runs for a couple of seconds but shuts off. Any sugestions I put new fuel and gaskets .

1. Make sure the exaust is not plugged. I took my screen out don't know if your supposed to or not but it ran a lot better with it out. I just used a screw driver.

2. Change the fuel filter and spark plug
