Hi

I was hoping someone might be able to help here. We got a Wisconsin engine on our Truck Loader. Its a v465d engine. We got the ""repair manual"" which in question doesn't fancy me at all. Its a photo copy manual from the OEM. Was bough online from continentalengines.com . So far I'm not happy, cause I feel the manual doesn't cover the whole engine. Or it does just very quickly. Does anyone own a OEM copy of this manual. And where Might I find one? And does anyone have a parts diagram too with part numbers?

it just so happens, I'm working on an old Ditch Witch with that engine in it for a neighbor. I have his original manual for it, but not on me at the moment.
what exactly are you looking for in it? I don't have a scanner, so I can't be of help there.

Thank you so much. I don't know if you have it. but I'm looking for a part number for the cap and rotor. And a little help with the ALT too.

well I thought I had a manual on that engine...but I have one for a V-564-D, not the V465D. I also have one on the VE4 and VF4
type in "wisconsin engine" and quite a few things come up.
sorry man! good luck!

did ya have any luck online?

if not, let me know because I know a few people who are more familiar with wisconsins than myself, and can probably find parts for ya, if need be.

You have to post the numbers directly off the distributor or mag. There will also be ID numbers on the regulator. Both components (and any variation) were the choice of the OEM.

I haven't look for a number on the distributor or mag. I looked at the reg on the alt but I didn't write it down. As soon as the snow stops and I can go out and look I'll post that info. Would I need to remove the distributor to find the ID# ?
