Looks good....

curious though, any chance of it washing away with rain? Can't tell from the pic if it's steep enough....

oops, nevermind, looked again and realized the old mulch is still sitting in place.

She does all the planting herself so i really dont know ..yeah that bank took 15 yards of mulch all together for her yard it was 42 yards... Yeah i dont know who cut the line but i say its a lil off

Ya, it could use a few more small shrubs, maybe even some small trees. That was my first thought it you got a huge flood there goes all the mulch. Looks good though overall.

Looks good, why not bring the edge back a little to make it straighter?

they probably don't want trees because they will block the view

Even if the last company did the edge I would have redone it just so I didn't have people thinking it was something I did. But oh well.

What did you need to mark the utility stuff for or was that someone else?

Reminds me of this super steep bank we did once where I kept falling down the slope while we were trying to do it and eventually had to hold a rope while working on it.

Am I the only one that thinks that expanse of mulch looks like crap? With that hill I'd plant some nice groundcover. I think some people just like to look at mulch.

i know thats a big area, but stone would of looked much better, once and your done, as well as some more ground cover as said, junipers, vinca

Looks good....

i thought the same thing when i first saw the picture and the slope.

Looks good...but like others have said many other options that might be better. Try selling them on a different idea next time and see what they say

Bark blowers are all well and good but sometimes its nice to earn the money yourself and not pay it off to a sub instead.

I guess i forget what it was like to edge by hand, I use a bed shaper that's why I would have redone it.

the way we charge is so that both you and I make some money we dont set the total amount like lets say you charge 55$ a yard well we charge you 20 something and mulch costs 15 which ads up to 35$ and you make profit and so do we
