I wonder if this will let them discontinue the SRC controllers.

Still a Pro C. No thanks.

Were there a lot of Pro C complaints not connected to the modules?

No , thiese will be cheaper then a clock and a mod or 2

The only real advantage I see id room for the solar sync. I cant imagine it being more then $5 less or so.

Wonder if you could still cram a solar sync into an older model?
Personally don't care for fixed station controllers unless you design the system correctly and allow for expansion in both the system and controller.

Solar sync has to be external on older Pro-C's. Seems to me to be alittle better, no more carrying extra mods on the truck, just make sure to leave room for future expansion on the install.....

So that becomes a $6 differance.

The flexibility of a modular controller is worth $6 IMO.

Thats what Im thinking , less inventory to pay for and carry.

Non-modular ProC ?

Seems like a major step backward. They did a great job of selling us on the advantages of the modularity and now they want us to go back to the 1980's?

That's what I thought. Rainbird went to the modulars a little late, but they still have some of the lower station tract models. i too think it's a step backwards for them.

Wanna place bets on the integration of the solar sync being the reason for dumping the modules?

Yes that is the reason , made for it to fit inside.

I don't know .... looking at the guts I think it could still be modular?
Wonder what is under the product sticker?

That's funny. It's what I call NORAD inside the mountain. Even though they've moved operations out to the air force base.
